How to Find Us

Isorropia Foundation is located at the Medina Valley Centre, Dodnor Lane, Newport, PO30 5TE. Please see the detailed directions on how to find us below.

Directions by car

  1. At Coppins Bridge Roundabout, take the exit onto the dual carriageway towards Cowes.
  2. Continue until you reach the traffic lights, then turn right, towards B&Q.
  3. At the B&Q roundabout, take the first exit onto Dodnor Road.
  4. At the mini roundabout, go straight ahead (first exit).
  5. Take the third turning on the left, just before you enter St Cross Business Park.
  6. Follow this road until you reach the cycle path. Continue straight across the cycle path.
  7. The Medina Valley Centre is the next turning on the right.

Directions by bus

Bus Number 1

  1. From Newport Bus Station, take the No. 1 bus.
  2. Alight at the St Mary’s Hospital bus stop and use the pedestrian crossing to cross the road safely.
  3. Walk through the hospital grounds, continuing until you exit at the rear of the hospital onto Dodnor Lane.
  4. From there, follow the map below for directions to the Medina Valley Centre

Bus Number 39

  1. From Newport Bus Station, take the No. 39 bus.
  2. Get off at the Daish Way bus stop, located near the rear entrance of St Mary’s Hospital.
  3. From there, follow the map below for directions to the Medina Valley Centre.

Walking Directions

  1. From Coppins Bridge Roundabout, head towards the Medina River and begin walking along the riverside path on the Little London side.
  2. Pass The Bargeman’s Rest pub, then continue past the HTP Apprenticeship College building.
  3. When the path splits, keep straight ahead, staying alongside the river.
  4. At the end of the road, you’ll reach a public footpath—continue along this path for approximately 0.8 miles.
  5. The Medina Valley Centre will be on your right.

Isorropia Foundation’s Shuttle Bus

Isorropia is delighted to say that we’re now running a free shuttle bus for selective workshops to help members who might otherwise struggle to attend!

Who is it for?

Absolutely anyone booked into one of our workshops!

Where does it run from?

It runs between Medina Valley Centre and before the Taxi Rank next to Morrisons. Below is a picture to help you find the pick-up/drop-off point:  

When does it run?

  • To find out if your workshop has a minibus running, please call us on 01983 217791.
  • For morning Workshops, the shuttle bus will leave at exactly 9:30am, and drop off at 12:30pm.
  • For afternoon Workshops, the shuttle bus will leave at exactly 12:30pm, and drop off at 15:30pm.

How will I know I’m getting onto the right shuttle bus?

Our 15-seater shuttle bus is white, and the number plate is PO64 FDD. Our friendly driver will let you know you’re getting on the right bus!

Do I need to book?

When signing up for a workshop on BookWhen, you’ll be asked if you want to access the Minibus this day. If you’re said yes, then just turn up on the right day ahead of time and we’ll be there to meet you.

 

OUR EXPECTATIONS

Please note that our Minibus Service is delivered by Isorropia Volunteers. They do not have the same training as our Wellbeing Coaches, and are not equipped to support you with your mental wellbeing needs. We ask that, regarding your mental wellbeing, you speak directly to any paid members of our coaching team.

Whilst using the Minibus, you agree to follow the Minibus Driver’s instruction at all times, and understand that by using the service, you are expected to behave appropriately, which is includes but is not limited to:

  • Being courteous
  • Wearing your seatbelt
  • Refraining from moving around the minibus whilst it’s in motion.
  • Not distracting the driver whilst the minibus is in motion.
  • UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ABUSE BE TOLERATED BY OUR MINIBUS DRIVERS. In any instance of abuse, you will be asked to leave the minibus immediately.
